2008 American Airboat - Ranger

A 18 foot flat bottomed boat, the hull is reinforced marine aluminum and has a polymer sheeting attached. It is driven by a 6.1 Levitator engine. It's primary use is shallow water or ice rescue. It has the ability to maneuver over a wide range of surfaces.

2000 RD Murray Freightliner

4 x 4 Freightliner FL-80 chassis driven by a Detroit diesel engine. The pump is a Hale 1250 gpm single stage and the truck carries 1000 gallons of water. This engine is equipped to respond to both structure fires and also is the first out on motor vehicle accidents. It carries a Hurst rescue tool, high pressure air bags in addition to various other equipment needed to accomplish disentanglement.

1986 Sanford Pumper

Ford 8000 Louisville chassis driven by a 3208 Caterpillar engine. 1250 gpm Hale single stage pump with 1000 gallon water tank. This is the first response engine for all structure fires.

 
 
Rescue 4 (R-4)


1984 Saulsbury Rescue

Purchased used from the Fair Haven Fire District. The chassis is a Ford F800 powered by a diesel engine with an automatic transmission. The rescue body was refurbished prior to our purchase by Har-Rob Fire. The body is a walk-in rescue style with outside compartment access. The piece of apparatus provides the ability to equip five firefighters with SCBA from bench seat locations. There is also an additional set of Hurst Rescue tools on this vehicle. In addition to fire and MVA response this vehicle carries six cold water suits, ice rescue equipment and is used to pull the trailer with WR-8.
